Whom I love in truth. Beloved friends I wish and pray above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly when some believers and brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
Beloved friends you are faithfully whatsoever you are doing for thou brothers and sisters, even though they are strangers to you. Which have borne witness of thy love and charity before the churches. Whom bring forward on their journey send them please in godly sort of manner and honor. Because for sake of thy name thy went out taking nothing from pagans and gentiles we ought to show hospitality working together, that we might be fellow helpers to such people to receive the truth. I wrote to the churches: But Diotrephes, who love to have the preeminence among thee, was unwelcoming. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember deeds calling attention to what one doeth, prating against us malicious words of nonsense: and not content nor satisfied there with neither, One thouself receive the brethren and forbids those whom do so casting them out of the churches. Beloved Friends, do not imitate nor follow which is evil But what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God, but one whom does what is evil hath not seen God Demetrius is will Spoken hath good report of everyone and of the truth itself. We also bear record and one know that our testimony is true.
